Theory Audio Design has added to its loudspeaker lineup with the ic5, a high-output in-ceiling model designed for a wide range of applications, including outdoor and marine environments.
The ic5, a smaller sibling to the company’s ic6 loudspeaker, features a 5-inch carbon fiber woofer and advanced polymer compression drivers, delivering a maximum output of 108 dB from a compact aperture.
Built with a sealed design and available with an optional all-weather grille, the ic5 is suited for both residential and commercial installations. For distributed installs, the speaker also includes a switch-selectable 70V/100V transformer that can be driven directly by Theory’s DLC Series Loudspeaker Controllers.
