ViewSonic has expanded its lineup with a new family of all-in-one direct-view LED displays, the LDP Series, available in 136-, 163- and 217-inch sizes. The LDP Series uses chip-on-board (COB) LED technology, enabling ultra-fine pixel pitches down to 0.7mm and full 4K UHD resolution.
Unlike traditional surface-mount device (SMD) methods, COB places multiple LED chips directly onto a single substrate without bonding wires. This design helps improve image quality, increases durability and allows the integration of mini LEDs for sharper visuals. The displays also feature a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and wider viewing angles.
The series is built with a common cathode power system, reducing energy consumption by up to 33% compared to similar displays with common anode designs. Each model is IP54-rated for dust and water protection and IK08-rated for impact resistance, making them well-suited for high-traffic environments.
To support simplified deployment, the LDP Series includes a pre-configured, all-in-one modular design with a detachable control box. The displays support front-access maintenance and are designed for quick installation with minimal disruption.
Aimed at corporate and training environments, the displays support Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, allowing multiple content sources to be displayed simultaneously. They also integrate with ViewSonic’s wireless collaboration tools, including ViewShare, a plug-and-play dongle, and AirSync, a web-based casting platform. Built-in 60W speakers round out the setup with room-filling sound for immersive presentations.
