Yehia Maaty Omar Named CEO of Zones

Zones has appointed Yehia Maaty Omar as chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Omar succeeds Firoz Lalji, who will step down from the CEO role on Sept. 1, 2025, but remain chairman of the board and continue to help guide the company’s long-term strategy.

Omar, a veteran technology executive, has served as a board member for Zones and previously held leadership roles including president of Megalos Consulting, CEO of Curvature, and corporate officer and executive committee member at Xerox Corporation. Throughout his career, he has guided multi-billion-dollar global organizations across North America, EMEA, LATAM, APAC, Eurasia and South Asia.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Yehia and have full confidence in his leadership to guide Zones through this next phase.” said Firoz Lalji, Chairman of the Board for Zones. “Yehia’s global experience and deep industry expertise will be instrumental in accelerating our ability to achieve near-term goals and drive long-term strategic growth.”

“I look forward to leveraging my experience to make an immediate impact as CEO for Zones,” said Yehia Omar. “Together with our talented team, we will continue to deliver world-class IT solutions and services to clients around the globe.”
