Samsung Electronics has entered the ePaper signage market with the launch of a 32-inch color ePaper display, the EM32DX. Designed to deliver high visibility with ultra-low power consumption, the new model is aimed at businesses looking for a lightweight, sustainable digital signage solution.
With a fully charged built-in battery, the Color E-Paper can be installed and operated without being connected to a power source. Even during content updates, the display consumes significantly less energy than traditional LCD signage—helping reduce operational costs.
The EM32DX features QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution and leverages Samsung’s color imaging algorithm to enhance accuracy and readability. The technology softens image edges and produces smoother, more vibrant colors, delivering an eye-catching effect that mimics traditional paper posters and printed retail signage.
Weighing just 5.5 pounds and measuring 17.9mm thick, the display supports versatile installation options using the included wall and ceiling mounting accessories. Uniform bezels (13.9mm) on all four sides allow for clean presentation in both landscape and portrait orientations. The unit is also VESA mount compatible for expanded installation flexibility.
