Sony has introduced a new version of its Spatial Reality Display, now integrated with Ameria’s AI-powered Touchfree Interaction Technology. The collaboration between Sony and Ameria enables customers to interact with and personalize products in a compact, spatial 3D environment—without the need for wearables or touchscreens.
The new system combines Sony’s Spatial Reality Display with Ameria’s gesture-based control platform to create an immersive and intuitive experience. Using AI to detect gestures, gaze, and proximity, the display responds to natural movement, allowing users to explore product options and customizations in real time.
Retailers can use the technology to reduce the need for physical inventory by presenting product variations virtually. Sony says this allows businesses to operate in smaller spaces while still offering a broad range of options. High-value items, such as jewelry, can be showcased without risk of damage or theft—maintaining a premium experience in a secure, contactless format.
The Spatial Reality Display produces life-like, three-dimensional visuals that appear to float in space. Combined with Ameria’s interaction tools, it delivers a seamless path from product exploration to customization—all without physical contact.
