Glass-Media and Samsung to Debut Color E-Paper Signage Accessories at NRF 2026

Glass-Media and Samsung Electronics America announced a new lineup of E-Paper signage accessories that will debut at NRF 2026, powered by Samsung’s 32-inch EMDX Series Color E-Paper displays.

The new displays use non-illuminated E-Paper technology with a matte finish designed to deliver a paper-like appearance. According to the companies, the battery-operated design eliminates the need for permanent power connections, reducing energy usage and simplifying installation. The low-glare surface is intended to minimize visual fatigue, making the displays suitable for environments where traditional backlit screens may be less desirable.

Glass-Media said the E-Paper accessory lineup will be available in multiple sizes and orientations, with a range of mounting and enclosure options. The solutions can be configured for use cases such as digital poster stands, menu boards, tabletop displays, end-cap signage and stanchions across retail, foodservice, hospitality, healthcare and other high-traffic settings.

“Samsung EMDX has quietly been delivering beautiful, high-impact visuals in bespoke deployments for years, but it hasn’t been packaged in a way that’s easy for brands to buy, deploy and scale,” said Daniel Black, Founder and CEO of Glass-Media. “By productizing this technology into a family of products in collaboration with Samsung, we’re giving organizations an elegant print-like alternative to traditional screens, while preserving the flexibility, efficiency and remote management they expect from modern digital signage, while also helping them respond to growing demand for more eco-conscious, portable display solutions.”

The new E-Paper lineup expands the companies’ existing collaboration, which includes battery-powered digital poster stands and the FibreCraft line of paper-based poster stands introduced in October 2025. FibreCraft products are powered by Samsung LCD displays and designed for temporary and modular deployments.

“As business needs continue to evolve, it is critical that organizations are equipped with technology that captivates consumers without compromise,” said Christopher Kwon, Director of Smart Signage Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America. “Through this continued strategic partnership, Samsung and Glass-Media are further empowering a broader range of businesses to deploy versatile, eco-conscious experiences at scale.”

Samsung plans to integrate the Glass-Media E-Paper poster stands into its Connected Experience Centers, where customers can view the displays alongside Samsung’s broader signage portfolio. The companies said the displays are intended to support applications such as wayfinding, promotions and brand messaging in spaces where traditional backlit screens may not be appropriate.

The Glass-Media and Samsung Color E-Paper display lineup will be available for preorder at NRF 2026 at Booth 5303, with shipments expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026.
