Epson Launches Mobile Cart to Bring Portable Ultra-Short Throw Displays to Any Room

Epson has introduced the ELPCS01 mobile projector cart, a portable AV furniture solution designed specifically for the EB-810E1 ultra-short throw projector.

The ELPCS01 is intended to support flexible classroom and corporate environments by enabling large-format displays to be deployed and moved easily between spaces.

When paired with the EB-810E1, the cart allows users to project images ranging from 100 to 160 inches while positioned close to a wall. Epson said the solution is designed to transform nearly any surface into a collaborative display area.

The EB-810E1 features built-in wired and wireless networking via Miracast or the Epson iProjection app. It uses 3-chip 3LCD technology with 4K Enhancement and delivers 5,000 lumens of color and white brightness, along with a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Epson said the projector is engineered to provide sharp detail and glare-free performance in well-lit environments. The Epson Setting Assistant app is designed to reduce setup time.

The ELPCS01 includes locking casters and a low center of gravity to support mobility and stability. Epson said the cart is suitable for classrooms, multipurpose rooms, libraries, gymnasiums and office meeting spaces.

The cart features built-in cable management and both external and internal connectivity options. External ports include HDMI and USB-C for connecting laptops or tablets. Internal connections include HDMI, USB-A and a power outlet. An integrated USB hub supports additional peripherals such as speakers and webcams.

A built-in control panel allows users to power the EB-810E1 on and off, manage key functions and switch input sources directly from the cabinet, eliminating the need for separate remotes.

The ELPCS01 is now available in Australia for AU$3,999 and in New Zealand for NZ$5,199.
