In my 10 years of attending InfoComm, I have never managed to see everything on the show floor that I wanted to see. Even with all the product videos and coverage we produce at rAVe, there simply isn’t enough time to experience everything. And for the average attendee? It’s even harder.
Most show coverage — including much of our own — is geared toward AV integrators. That’s why we created the Technology in Practice Tour.
Designed exclusively for AV/IT managers, in-house integrators and other technical end users, this tour offers a curated look at some of the most interesting technology on the InfoComm show floor. One of our goals is to get attendees face time with some of the industry’s biggest brands — the booths that are often packed and difficult to navigate on your own. Just as important, though, is introducing attendees to innovative startups and emerging companies whose products might otherwise fly under the radar.
We know it’s impossible to see everything in two hours. What we can do is create a well-rounded experience that highlights a broad cross-section of the technologies shaping the industry today.
Now in its second year, the Technology in Practice Tour will feature displays, cameras, software, audio solutions and more. Every stop on the tour was hand-selected by me and Tim Albright of AVNation, who will once again be co-leading the tour.
As an added bonus, everyone who joins us will receive lunch and have the opportunity to connect with fellow attendees, share experiences and discuss the challenges and opportunities they encounter in their day-to-day roles.
