Loud & Clear Deploys Absen Jupiter Pro LED Displays at Sonic Temple Festival

Loud & Clear, part of Concert Stuff Group (CSG), deployed Absen’s Jupiter Pro Series LED displays at the Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival to support live video production across multiple stages at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

“At a festival like this, there are so many people here. This entire stadium is full,” said Corey Willard, head of video production for Loud & Clear. “The people in the back have to be able to see the bands performing. Primarily, they’re seeing that through the screens we’ve built, so it’s a super important part of the festival experience.”

The production team used Absen’s JP5 Pro displays to build four IMAG walls and two upstage walls, completing the installation in a single day. According to Absen, the Jupiter Pro Series is designed for touring applications with large-format cabinets, lightweight construction and an integrated alignment system intended to simplify setup and teardown.

The displays deliver up to 5,000 nits of brightness, along with black LED technology, a 7,680 Hz refresh rate and a 16-bit grayscale. The company said these features help maintain image visibility and contrast in outdoor environments with changing lighting conditions. The Jupiter Pro Series also met the reliability demands of festival production, where equipment is repeatedly transported, assembled and disassembled over multiple events.
