Alfatron Electronics has introduced the VB100 Video Soundbar, an all-in-one video collaboration solution designed for medium-sized meeting rooms.
The VB100 integrates a 4K Ultra-HD camera, microphone array and loudspeaker into a single device. The camera features AI face tracking and a 120-degree field of view, designed to capture all meeting participants within the frame.
The system includes a built-in microphone array with a voice pickup range of up to 5 meters (16.4 feet). Alfatron also offers optional microphone solutions, including the ALF-MIC100W wireless microphone system with four microphones and the ALF-MIC100 wired microphone. When either optional microphone system is used, it overrides the VB100’s built-in microphone array.
The VB100 supports three operational modes: Speaker Tracking, Auto Framing and Auto Tiling. Speaker Tracking follows the active speaker. Auto Framing detects participants in view and adjusts the frame accordingly, while Auto Tiling can display up to six participants in individual windows.
The device includes a built-in loudspeaker designed for clear voice reproduction. Audio processing features include Smart DSP with acoustic echo cancellation, automatic noise cancellation and automatic gain control. The company said these features are intended to improve speech intelligibility in rooms with reflective surfaces and to reduce background noise during meetings.
