Almo Pro AV Launches Audio-Technica D50 Digital UHF Wireless System

Almo Pro AV announced that it has added Audio-Technica’s D50 Digital UHF Wireless System to its portfolio, giving AV integrators access to the company’s flagship wireless platform through the distributor.

Introduced at InfoComm 2026 in June, the D50 is now available for order through Almo Pro AV, with the first shipping models expected at the end of September. Integrators will also be able to see the system in operation during Almo Pro AV’s upcoming E4 Experience events in Dallas on Sept. 15 and Boston on Oct. 15.

The D50 is designed for high-density RF environments where wireless reliability and scalability are critical. Target applications include corporate AV, education, government, houses of worship, theaters and other live sound environments.

“Integrators need access to new technology and they also need to know how to put it to work,” said Rob Voorhees, director of business development at Almo Pro AV. “Almo Pro AV gives integrators a complete crew behind the technology all in one place. Seeing the D50 at the E4 Experience this fall will give integrators looking for new audio a big advantage. They can spend meaningful time with the technology and talk directly with our experts to get their questions answered. It’s an effective way to evaluate what’s right for their projects with the added bonus of not having to travel.”

For integrators, the relationship extends beyond product distribution. Almo Pro AV’s Audio Team provides technical and business development support, while LinkLab Services offers system design, programming, commissioning and labor services.

The D50 utilizes antenna summing and Maximal Ratio Combining technology to improve RF stability across the available UHF frequency range. Its high-density capabilities are intended to support deployments involving larger numbers of wireless microphones in environments with limited RF spectrum.

The system also supports Dante networking, aiming to allow multiple channels of digital audio to travel over a single network cable. For integrators, the approach can reduce cabling requirements and simplify system integration and troubleshooting.

Almo Pro AV said it will showcase the D50 at its upcoming E4 Experience events, one-day programs focused on AV education, training and hands-on access to new technology.

The upcoming events are scheduled for Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel, Sept. 15, 2026, Boston Marriott Newton, Oct. 15, 2026 at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for both events.

The D50 is available to order through Almo Pro AV, with shipping models expected at the end of September. Integrators can visit the E4 Experience website for event details and registration.

“We received tremendous feedback on the D50 when it was introduced at InfoComm in June and we look forward to showing the first shipping models at Almo Pro AV’s E4 Experience this fall,” said Jeff Beck, regional sales manager, systems solutions sales Department, at Audio-Technica. “We are confident that between Almo Pro AV’s deep distribution network and talented internal technical and service teams, integrators will be able to get the D50 into their projects quickly and with great success.”
