Autoscript introduced Voice Controller for WinPlus-IP, a new voice-controlled prompting solution that allows presenters to control the movement of a teleprompter script through their speech.
Voice Controller uses the speech recognition technology behind Autoscript Voice and integrates with the company’s WinPlus-IP prompting software. As a presenter speaks, the system follows their delivery and moves the script accordingly, reducing the need for dedicated hand or foot controls.
The system is designed to work wherever audio can be routed, allowing it to be incorporated into existing broadcast and production workflows. Autoscript said the technology expands its voice prompting options as production environments become increasingly automated.
“Voice Controller allows the presenter’s own delivery to control the movement of the script, giving them one less thing to think about while they’re on air,” said Robin Brown, prompting specialist at Autoscript. “We have made that interaction feel as natural as possible, so presenters can concentrate on what they’re saying rather than how the prompt is being controlled.”
Autoscript will demonstrate Voice Controller for WinPlus-IP at IBC 2026 in booth 13.A05. The company is also offering live online demonstrations for those not attending the show.
