AVer VB150 Earns Zoom Rooms Certification for Small Meeting Spaces

AVer Information Inc. USA announced that its VB150 all-in-one 4K USB video bar has earned Zoom Rooms Certification, giving organizations another certified option for huddle rooms and small meeting spaces. The device combines intelligent camera tracking, integrated audio and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) connectivity in a single system.

The VB150 features a 4K camera with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and 5X digital zoom to capture participants throughout the room. Its AI Voice Tracking automatically follows the active speaker, while Smart Composition adjusts framing to keep meeting participants in view without requiring manual camera adjustments.

For audio, the VB150 includes five-element beamforming microphones and AI noise reduction to capture speech while minimizing background distractions. An optional expansion microphone extends the audio pickup range to accommodate different room layouts.

The video bar also supports single-cable BYOD connectivity, allowing users to connect a laptop via USB and access the device’s camera, audio and content-sharing capabilities without additional software or configuration. Wall and VESA mounting options provide flexibility for different meeting room setups.

“Achieving Zoom Rooms Certification for the VB150 emphasizes AVer’s commitment to delivering collaboration solutions that simplify deployment while providing the video and audio performance users expect,” said Marc Happes, senior product manager for AVer Information Inc. USA.

With the certification, the VB150 joins AVer’s existing lineup of Zoom-certified devices, giving AV and IT teams another option for standardizing Zoom meeting experiences across different room sizes.
