Bolin has introduced a new lineup of production tools, including a PTZR camera, a large-sensor PTZ camera and a control system designed to support broadcast and live production environments.
The new Range PTZR camera is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, allowing production teams to use a single camera across multiple environments. The company said the camera maintains the size and usability of indoor PTZ systems while adding durability for outdoor operation.
The camera supports 4K video and includes motorized movement and rotation features intended to enable a wider range of camera angles and production styles.
The R9-L420N PTZ camera is designed for live production environments that require higher image quality and synchronization across multiple cameras. It includes a large sensor and supports features such as timecode and genlock to align with other production systems.
Bolin said the camera can also generate multiple framing options from a single image, allowing operators to create alternate views without repositioning the camera.
The company also introduced the KBD Plus controller, designed to manage PTZ cameras across production environments. The controller combines camera control and monitoring, allowing operators to view multiple camera feeds and adjust settings from a single interface.
Bolin said the controller supports a range of control protocols, including VISCA over IP, NDI and ONVIF. A future update is expected to add AI-based tracking capabilities through the controller.
