ENCO Adds Real-Time Voice Translation With enSpeak for Broadcast and AV Workflows

ENCO will introduce enSpeak, a real-time voice translation solution, at NAB Show 2026, expanding its captioning and translation workflow for broadcast and AV environments.

The new tool adds voice translation to ENCO’s existing system, allowing audiences to hear live content in their preferred language alongside translated captions.

ENCO’s workflow begins with its enCaption platform, which converts speech to text for live captioning. That text is then processed through the enTranslate engine to deliver real-time translations. enTranslate Mobile extends those translations to personal devices in environments such as classrooms, auditoriums and live events.

With enSpeak, ENCO adds the ability to convert translated text into spoken audio in real time, giving users the option to listen to translated content instead of reading it.

“Broadcasters and AV professionals have made it clear that voice translation is the next step in accessibility,” said Ken Frommert, president of ENCO.

The company said enSpeak can be deployed across a range of environments, including broadcast, streaming and in-venue applications. In broadcast workflows, the system can deliver translated audio through secondary audio program channels. For live events and AV environments, users can access voice and text translations through their personal devices.

ENCO said the platform can be deployed in cloud, on-premises or hybrid environments and can integrate with its existing systems or operate independently.

The company will demonstrate enSpeak as part of its workflow at NAB Show 2026.
