Extron introduced Extron Control Pro, a new mobile app that gives users access to Extron control systems from Apple and Android devices. The app can be used to control a single room or multiple spaces across a facility.
Control Pro builds on the existing Extron Control app with features including real-time dynamic image previews, the ability to add multiple systems at once, including while offline, and additional authentication options. After initial setup, the app connects to the selected room and automatically loads the same user interface available on Extron control products.
When paired with an IPCP Pro xi control processor and Extron LinkLicense for User Interfaces, Control Pro can also turn a mobile device into the primary interface for an Extron control system. This provides an alternative to a dedicated control interface while maintaining access to the system’s functionality.

Button presses are synchronized across connected control devices, so changes made through the mobile app are reflected across the system. Extron Control Pro is available now through Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
