Extron is now shipping its TouchLink Pro 35 Series touchpanels, a new line of control interfaces.
The series includes 5.5-inch, 8-inch, 10.1-inch and 15.6-inch models, with tabletop, wall-mount and Cable Cubby configurations available in black or white finishes.
The touchpanels use IPS display technology to support improved color, contrast, brightness and viewing angles. Extron said the series also uses a modern web stack built on HTML and browser technologies to support more consistent on-screen rendering.
Select models can be used as standalone control systems with an Extron LinkLicense for TLP Control Processor and an optional TouchLink Control Port Expansion Adapter. Extron said this can reduce the need for a separate control processor in some installations.
The touchpanels also include multicolor status indicators that can show system states, alerts or room availability.
“We’ve designed the TLP Pro 35 Series to deliver the most advanced touchpanel experience yet, combining responsive control with elegant design,” says Casey Hall, Chief Marketing Officer for Extron.
Wall-mount models, except for the 15.6-inch version, can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation. Extron said the series is designed for environments where flexible mounting and reliable AV control are needed.
