Grass Valley Introduces AMPP Edge Live for Enterprise Video Production

Grass Valley has introduced AMPP Edge Live, a production platform designed to help enterprise organizations manage live video production through a combination of hardware and software.

The new platform, unveiled at InfoComm 2026, is intended for organizations in education, government, corporate communications, houses of worship, live events and media production that need professional production capabilities without building traditional multi-vendor production environments.

According to Grass Valley, AMPP Edge Live combines the company’s hardware with NVIDIA Blackwell GPU acceleration and AMPP OS in a single system. The platform is designed
to allow organizations to expand production capabilities through software as production requirements change.

“Production requirements are constantly evolving as audience expectations shift, creating challenges for enterprise organizations whose production infrastructures were not designed for today’s demands,” said Jonathan Lyth, Product Director for Enterprise Media, Grass Valley. “Businesses need production platforms that combine operational agility with the confidence of reliable performance.”

AMPP Edge Live is available in two models. The AMPP Edge Live 4000 is designed for live event production and supports Event Producer X, which combines production switching, graphics, audio mixing, recording, streaming, monitoring and production control within a browser-based interface.

The AMPP Edge Live 6000 is intended for more demanding production workflows and supports Sport Producer X, which adds capabilities including graphics, scoring, timing, data integration and instant replay for sports production.

Grass Valley said the platform is offered as a complete solution, with the company handling hardware validation, software compatibility, updates and support through a single ownership model.

AMPP Edge Live is available now in L4000 and L6000 appliance models.
