Igloo Vision Updates Core Engine Platform to Simplify Immersive Spaces

Igloo Vision has released version 2.0 of its Core Engine platform, introducing updates aimed at simplifying how immersive spaces are deployed, managed and used.

The update includes changes to the user interface, expanded content capabilities and new AI-based tools designed to support a wider range of use cases across industries including enterprise, education and design.

Igloo Core Engine is used by organizations to power immersive environments for collaboration, visualization, training and presentations. The company said the latest version is designed to make these spaces easier to operate while supporting more flexible use.

“When we launched Igloo Core Engine, the goal was to remove complexity from immersive spaces and make them viable for everyday use,” said Kerry Head, CEO of Igloo Vision. “With Igloo Core Engine 2.0, we’ve focused on faster setup, simpler control and expanding content creation.”

The update includes a redesigned interface and control system intended to improve day-to-day usability. Igloo said users can launch or exit experiences more quickly and manage spaces across devices including phones, tablets and laptops.

New features also include support for viewing and working with 3D models directly within immersive environments, along with AI tools that allow users to generate content using integrated third-party platforms.

Igloo Vision said the update is available to existing customers as part of their license agreements.
