Panopto has introduced new platform capabilities designed to help organizations and higher education institutions create learning content, measure engagement and integrate video knowledge into existing workflows.
Among the updates is AI Quiz Generation, which automatically creates quizzes from presentations and videos created in Panopto’s AI Video Studio. The company said the feature allows instructors, learning teams and content creators to build knowledge checks more quickly while editing the generated content as needed.
Panopto also introduced Connect Analytics, which provides insight into how recorded content is being viewed through Panopto Connect. Organizations can track engagement trends, identify where viewers stop watching and use that data to refine learning content. For higher education, the analytics can help educators better understand how students engage with lectures and course materials.
Additional updates include a Knowledge Insights Data Connector for exporting Panopto data into tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and Excel, a Connect User Management API for user provisioning and audience management, and a new Workday Learning integration that brings Panopto content into employees’ existing learning workflows. “Educators and sponsors need to understand how knowledge is being used and connect learning to measurable outcomes,” said Stephen Laster, CEO of Panopto.
