Planar Launches Chameleon and Mosaic LED Series for Creative Indoor Displays

Planar announced the launch of the Chameleon Series and Mosaic Series, two new indoor LED display lines designed for architectural and experiential environments that require more flexible shapes, sizes and configurations than traditional video walls.

The Planar Chameleon Series features ultra-slim, double-sided LED displays measuring less than 2 inches deep. The displays can show independent or synchronized content on each side and are available in 1.2, 1.5, 1.9, 2.6 and 3.9 mm pixel pitches. High-brightness models provide up to 3,000 nits, while hanging and freestanding installation options support a range of indoor environments.

The Planar Mosaic Series uses multiple cabinet sizes to create custom shapes, layouts and display dimensions, including configurations with negative space. The series is also available in pixel pitches from 1.2 to 3.9 mm and supports brightness levels up to 3,000 nits. Front serviceability is included for maintenance access.

“LED displays are increasingly becoming an integral part how spaces are designed and experienced,” said Robert Detwiler, senior director of product management at Planar. “Planar Chameleon Series and Mosaic Series give our customers and partners new creative tools to move beyond conventional display formats and bring distinctive visual concepts to life in virtually any indoor space.”

Both the Planar Chameleon Series and Planar Mosaic Series are available to order through Planar’s global network of authorized resellers.
