Planar Adds Cybersecurity Certification and Cloud Monitoring to UltraRes P Series

Planar announced that its next-generation UltraRes P Series LCD displays have achieved ETSI EN 303 645 cybersecurity certification and are now compatible with Planar WallDirector Cloud. The updates bring additional security and remote monitoring capabilities to the company’s large-format commercial display lineup.

ETSI EN 303 645 establishes a cybersecurity baseline for connected devices. According to Planar, the certification is part of its efforts to address customers’ evolving security requirements and help mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with connected displays.

With WallDirector Cloud compatibility, AV and IT teams can monitor display health across multiple locations through a centralized, browser-based dashboard. The platform also provides remote diagnostics and direct access to Planar Support, giving administrators additional tools to identify and address display issues.

The UltraRes P Series is available in 49-, 55-, 65-, 75-, 86- and 98-inch sizes, featuring 700-nit brightness, wide color gamut and HDR compatibility. Designed for 24/7 operation, the displays support landscape and portrait orientations and are TAA compliant and ENERGY STAR certified.

Planar MediaPlex Plus Processing allows users to view up to four sources simultaneously. Interactive models also feature optically bonded, projected capacitive 50-point touch technology for collaboration, presentations, whiteboarding and annotation.

The next-generation UltraRes P Series is available through Planar’s global network of authorized resellers.
