Planar has expanded its lineup of commercial displays with the introduction of the UltraRes P Series of 4K LCDs.
The series, available in 49-, 55-, 65-, 75-, 86- and 98-inch sizes, offers 700-nit brightness and a 24×7 fanless design. The displays support 4K HDR content, combining image performance with commercial-grade reliability.
The latest version of the UltraRes P Series continues to feature Planar MediaPlex Plus processing for multi-source viewing while adding wide color gamut and interactive touch options. The displays reach 90 percent of the NTSC (National Television System Committee) video standard and include multiple local dimming zones to enhance dynamic content.
Designed for flexibility, the displays can be mounted in either landscape or portrait orientation and meet Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliance requirements. Planar said the UltraRes P Series will begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2025.
