PTZOptics has introduced Rise 4K, a new flagship PTZ camera designed for broadcast, sports, live events, enterprise studios, universities, houses of worship and other professional production environments.
Rise 4K features a 1-inch, 50-megapixel CMOS sensor and captures 4K Ultra HD video at up to 60 frames per second. The camera includes 20x optical zoom, phase-detect autofocus, optical image stabilization and a built-in three-stage ND filter. According to PTZOptics, the combination is designed to help production teams capture a range of shots while maintaining stable images and smooth camera movement.
For multicamera production, Rise 4K includes timecode and genlock for camera synchronization, along with FreeD support for virtual production and augmented reality workflows. Connectivity includes 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB 3.0 and SFP+ fiber, as well as support for NDI HX, RTMP, RTSP and SRT. The camera also includes XLR inputs with 48V phantom power, onboard TF card recording and front and rear tally lights.
Rise 4K ships with PTZOptics’ Horizon Web interface, which provides browser-based camera control, image and color adjustments, presets, auto-framing, automation and AI auto-tracking. “Rise gives them an attainable path to higher-end production, combining broadcast-quality imaging with intelligent tools that help smaller teams accomplish more,” said Claudia Barbiero, Director of Global marketing at PTZOptics.
Rise 4K is available to order now and is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2026. The camera will make its public debut at IBC2026, Sept. 11-14 at RAI Amsterdam.
