Samsung Showcases Next-Generation Retail Technologies at NRF 2026

Samsung Electronics America is introducing new display, mobile and partner solutions for the retail market at NRF 2026: Retail’s Big Show, taking place Jan. 11–13 in New York. The company is exhibiting at Booth #5303, where attendees can explore how Samsung’s connected ecosystem supports in-store experiences for customers and employees.

Samsung’s booth features a range of current and upcoming technologies designed to support retail environments, including large-format displays, mobile devices and software tools aimed at content management, communication and engagement across stores.

“In 2026, successful retailers will need to focus beyond price to stay prominent among consumers,” said David Phelps, Head of Display, Samsung Electronics America. “According to Deloitte’s 2026 Retail Industry Global Outlook, 40% of perceived brand value stems from non-financial factors.1 We’re helping store owners rethink how they attract, engage and convert shoppers into customers through convenient content management tools and stunning visual displays that captivate from entrance to checkout.”

Among the technologies on display is Samsung’s new Spatial Signage, which uses 3D visual effects to create immersive imagery in retail environments. The display features an 85-inch screen with a slim profile and integrates with Samsung’s Visual eXperience Transformation (VXT) platform for centralized content and device management.

Samsung is also showing a new 13-inch Color E-Paper display, expanding the company’s E-Paper lineup following the introduction of its 32-inch model at NRF 2025. The battery-powered display is designed for ultra-low power consumption and can be installed in compact retail spaces such as end caps, shelf areas and storefront locations.

In addition, Samsung is presenting the new Galaxy XR headset, which supports Android applications and is intended for immersive employee training and other in-store use cases. The booth also includes rugged mobile handsets and tablets designed to support retail associate productivity.

Samsung is highlighting The Wall: MMF-A, its 136-inch all-in-one MicroLED display, through live digital graffiti demonstrations by local artist Alex Alpert on Jan. 11–12. The demonstrations will run across two side-by-side displays.

The booth also features solutions from multiple technology partners integrated with Samsung displays and platforms. These include content management, IPTV, retail media and digital merchandising solutions that operate within Samsung’s ecosystem.
