Samsung Unveils Interactive Display Designed to Increase Classroom Engagement

Samsung Electronics America has introduced the WAFX-P, a new premium interactive display designed for education and enterprise collaboration environments.

The WAFX-P includes built-in collaboration tools and Samsung AI Assistant features intended to support classroom engagement and group collaboration. Samsung said the display is designed to help educators and teams create more interactive learning and meeting experiences.

“Participation in hands-on activities remains one of the strongest indicators of student engagement, with recent research showing that 71% of K–12 educators2 rank it as a key measure of active learning,” said Dr. Micah Shippee, Director of Education, Display Solutions, Samsung Electronics America. “The WAFX-P is designed to foster active collaboration in group settings, delivering smarter, more intuitive experiences that drive greater connections and productivity wherever ideas take shape.”

The display includes a built-in 4K camera, integrated microphones and dual 20-watt speakers to support hybrid collaboration between classrooms or remote participants. A built-in Live Caption feature can generate on-screen captions for audio and video content to improve accessibility.

Powered by Android 15 and an octa-core processor, the display allows educators to switch between classroom tools, apps and multitasking features during lessons.

Samsung has also integrated AI tools into the display, including Circle to Search, AI Summary and Live Transcript. The company said these features allow educators to highlight information, summarize key points and capture insights during lessons or discussions.

The WAFX-P is available in 65-, 75- and 86-inch sizes and integrates with commonly used classroom tools including Google Classroom and Google Drive.

The display includes dual-pen functionality that allows multiple users to write or annotate on the screen simultaneously. Multi-touch capability supports up to 50 users for group collaboration.

For enterprise use, the WAFX-P supports simultaneous screen sharing from up to nine devices. A 3-in-1 USB-C port provides connectivity for touch control, screen sharing and device charging.

Samsung said the display also includes a centralized device management system that allows IT teams to remotely manage displays and applications across campus or office environments. Using Samsung’s on-premise Device Management Solution, organizations can update content or display announcements across multiple devices.

The WAFX-P is now available through Samsung’s interactive display lineup.
