Sennheiser Group will showcase new wireless, monitoring and broadcast audio technologies at IBC 2026, including additions to its Spectera ecosystem and new products from Neumann. The demonstrations will focus on audio workflows spanning capture, monitoring, management and production.
Sennheiser will show its new Spectera SKM handheld microphone, which is scheduled to begin shipping in mid-September. The handheld joins the company’s bidirectional wideband wireless ecosystem, which combines wireless microphones, in-ear monitoring, remote control and monitoring. Sennheiser will also demonstrate the Spectera Base Station ZMAN, expected to be available in October, with native ST 2110-30 audio integration through a Merging ZMAN module.
For broadcast teams, Sennheiser will demonstrate Spectera Command, which allows a speaker or performer to mute audio or open a talkback channel using a Command Button or Command Ring. SoundBase will also show its RF planning and management application with support for Spectera and its Remote View tool for sharing live monitoring data with multiple production team members.
Neumann will preview additions to its studio monitor portfolio and introduce the KK 104 A cardioid and KK 105 A supercardioid capsule heads for Sennheiser wireless systems, including Spectera. The company says the new capsule heads feature improved suppression of handling noise compared with the KK 204 and KK 205 models they succeed.
Sennheiser Group will also demonstrate a broadcast workflow that follows audio from capture through monitoring and augmentation. The setup includes Sennheiser MKH microphones and EW-DX wireless systems, Merging Technologies’ HAPI audio interface, Neumann KH studio monitors, Sennheiser HD 480 PRO and HD 490 PRO headphones, Ovation and Pyramix. The workflow includes connectivity across SMPTE 2110, Dante, NMOS and Lawo HOME.
Sennheiser Group will exhibit in booth 8.D50 at IBC 2026, Sept. 11-14 in Amsterdam.
