Westminster Schools in Atlanta has installed an interactive LED video wall that translates user emotions into real-time visual content.
The display, developed by Fusion CI Studios and powered by dvLED technology from SNA Displays, serves as a central feature in a high-traffic lounge near the building’s main entrance.
The installation allows users to interact with the display by selecting emotions or capturing a selfie at a nearby kiosk, triggering visual responses across the LED wall. The system also aggregates user inputs to present a real-time view of the collective emotional state within the space.
“Our absolute favorite digital-art installations render imagery in real time, reacting to a user’s touch,” said Mark Stasiuk, Fusion’s Executive Technical Director. “This installation with SNA Displays takes that concept further by allowing users to tell the display how they feel.
The system uses a combination of TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine and artificial intelligence to generate dynamic visuals. Particle simulation is also used to create responsive content that changes based on user interaction.
The LED wall features a 1.8 mm pixel pitch and is designed for close-viewing environments, delivering high-resolution imagery suitable for interactive applications.
SNA Displays said the installation is intended to support both engagement and learning, aligning with the Innovation Center’s focus on programs such as broadcast production, robotics and visual arts.
The Blake Innovation Center also includes a studio for the school’s student-run broadcast team and additional spaces for hands-on learning.
