
Yamaha has introduced the DXR mk3 Series Powered Loudspeakers, the latest generation of its DXR lineup for musicians, DJs, production professionals, rental companies and venues. The new series adds higher output, enhanced DSP processing, Bluetooth connectivity and app-based speaker management.
The DXR mk3 Series features a 2,000-watt Class-D amplifier and delivers up to 134 dB SPL output. According to Yamaha, users can manage, tune and adjust up to 10 speakers from a single mobile device using the company’s D-Remote app. The speakers also include a full-color LCD interface, room-specific presets, feedback suppression tools and real-time audio adjustments.
Additional features include DSP presets for front-of-house, monitor, DJ, live music and speech applications, along with balanced high-frequency and low-frequency coverage. The speakers can be used as main speakers, stage monitors or in permanent installations and feature lightweight enclosures for transport.
The Yamaha DXR mk3 Series Powered Loudspeakers are available now through authorized Yamaha dealers and retailers and are backed by a seven-year warranty.
